Republicans Are Mean Spirited

"We do not advocate a silencing of debate on the war in Iraq. But care must be taken by those experienced officers who had their chance to speak up while on active duty. In speaking out now, they may think they are doing a service by adding to the reasoned debate. But the enemy does not understand or appreciate reasoned public debate. It is perceived as a sign of weakness and lack of resolve."

Dear Melvin R. Laird and Robert E. Pursley,

You guys make me sick with rage to judge one's right to express their opinion, regardless of when they decide to express it. They are doing a service, you close-minded, anti-whistleblower, elitist, fear-mongering thugs.

Why would you suggest they should not cater their remarks toward "the enemy?" Are you implying that anyone which disagrees with your perceptions is "the enemy?" Anyone that doesn't think like you or believe like you is wrong and should be silenced. Is that it?

I hate your kind of mentality.

Are the Republicans Mean Spirited?

About Me, Not You

I was christened Wannahockaloogy by our tribal leader. He was a bitter old man with throat cancer who believed that, to truly hock a loogie, one must not retrieve the phlegm from the throat, but from the soul. His weakened, delirious state made it easy for me to overthrow him and seize control. Now, I am the chief and I have internet access. Beware, delirious smoking populace. Beware.
