Best Home Web Page?

Typing in the phrase "best home web page" in Mozilla Firefox (yes, I too have converted from IE) turns up the following web page:

http://www.refdesk.com/

Up til now I've had Google's News Page as my home page, but the news is depressing (especially with Dubya in office). This new page looks like it has plenty of stuff (perhaps too much?) to keep one busy, so I shall try it out for awhile.

Any other suggestions for "best home web page"?
